HeavenWord 7 – Day 345

Heaven-Bound Prostitutes

Jesus told the religious leaders in Jerusalem that prostitutes and thieving tax-collectors would get into God’s kingdom before them. Was Jesus endorsing an “ultimate grace” that saves unrepentant sinners?

HeavenWord 7 – Day 330

The Way to Greatness

When two of Jesus’ disciples asked to sit on His right and left in His coming kingdom, He seized this opportunity to teach all of His disciples about the way, as well as the cost, required to be great in His coming Kingdom. In God’s kingdom, the way up is down!

Todays Scripture: Matthew 20:24-28

HeavenWord 7 – Day 331

Did Jesus Heal One or Two Blind Beggars?

Matthew’s Gospel tells us that Jesus healed two blind men as He departed from Jericho, while Mark’s and Luke’s Gospels tell us that Jesus healed only one. How can we reconcile this apparent contradiction?

Todays Scripture: Matthew 20:29-31

HeavenWord 7 – Day 332

When Jesus Seems to Ignore You

At first, Jesus didn’t respond when the two blind beggars called out to Him for healing. We can learn what to do when God seams to ignore our prayers by looking at what the two beggars did when Jesus seemed to ignore them.

Todays Scripture: Matthew 20:30-32

HeavenWord 7 – Day 335

God's Wrath and a Roman Legion

Jesus clearly indicated that Jerusalem’s coming destruction by Roman soldiers would be a direct consequence of the wrath of God upon a city that had rejected Him. Does God still send His wrath today in the form of conquering armies?

Todays Scripture: Matthew 21:6-11
