HeavenWord 7 – Day 304

Jesus and Jesus

The Jesus who was spoke in Matthew 19 about divorce and remarriage is the same Jesus who spoke in Deuteronomy 24 about divorce and remarriage, as Jesus was the actual author of the Law of Moses. So we must consider both with equal weight and harmonize them.

HeavenWord 7 – Day 320

Possessions or Heaven

Jesus told the rich young ruler that he must sell his possessions and give to the poor if he wanted to enter the kingdom of heaven. Does this mean that everyone has to sell their possessions in order to enter heaven?

Jesus' Remarriage Bombshell

Dying Children

Todays Scripture: Matthew 19:14

HeavenWord 7 – Day 310

No One is Good but God Alone

The rich young ruler called Jesus a “good teacher” and asked what “good thing” he needed to do to inherit eternal life. But Jesus said that no one is good but God alone. What was Jesus saying to the rich young ruler about himself?

Todays Scripture: Matthew 19:16-17

HeavenWord 7 – Day 311

Keep the Commandments

Jesus plainly told the rich young ruler that, if he wanted to inherit eternal life, he needed to keep the commandments. Was Jesus mistaken? Or did Jesus’ words only apply to one man, or perhaps just to people under the old covenant?

Todays Scripture: Matthew 19:16-17
